In light of news that the Imperial Haus cocktail bar in Cheltenham is expanding this year, there is speculation as to whether owner Sophie Wilding – who is currently competing in The apprentice on BBC1 – wins the show.
Last Thursday’s week three episode saw her take on the challenge of building a soft drink brand as Team Infinity’s project manager.
Sadly, the artisanal, peach-flavored, spicy beer they touted didn’t win Wilding’s job, but neither did the loss lead to her being fired by Lord Sugar…
With its enchanted bar to take over another level of the building that once housed Cheltenham’s Boogie Lounge nightclub, viewers wonder if the expansion of Imperial Haus is an indicator that Wilding is winning The apprentice 2022 and the price of £250,000.
The show was filmed last summer and while Wilding isn’t saying anything about the outcome, she did confirm that work on the Imperial Haus’ magical second floor makeover will begin in February 2022, ahead of an official unveiling in the spring.
She also revealed to her teammates on The apprentice that she had been working on her own mocktail recipes, which we now know will be part of a new menu launching at Imperial Haus in February, giving us plenty to look forward to in the meantime.
The apprentice airs Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
