THE owners of a new nightclub and cocktail bar in the city center have revealed the opening date for the two new venues.
Epic Bars and Clubs has already started work on converting the old Alexander nightclub in New Street into a new venue called Labyrinth with the neighboring Tiki Room which will be transformed into a cocktail bar called Botanic.
The two new downtown locations are scheduled to open on August 12 and 13.
According to Nick Martindale of Epic Bars and Clubs, Botanic will feature “luxurious VIP cabins, high tables, great cocktails, its own DJs and entertainment”, with the new Labyrinth nightclub playing house and R&B music in its main room. with cheesy pop and party music in a second room.

Nick Martindale of Epic Bars and Clubs said: “We’re not just bringing one venue to Worcester, but we’re bringing two. It will be the first real nightclub to come to town for a decade.
The proposed opening hours for the Labyrinth nightclub are 9:30pm to 3:30am on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the Botanic cocktail bar open Thursday to Sunday from 5:30pm to 11:30pm.

Epic Bars and Clubs, based in Cheltenham, run nightclubs and bars across the country, including Trilogy nightclubs in Blackpool, High Wycombe, Warrington and Southampton, Labyrinth nightclubs in Bath and Windsor, Home and Botanic in Cheltenham and Botanic Bar in High Wycombe.
Alexander’s nightclub closed in May and has stood empty ever since.
