Shock as cocktail bar stabbing victim has ‘semi-amputated’ arm in Spain

Shock as the victim of a knife attack in a cocktail bar has a “semi-amputated” arm in Madrid, Spain.

According to Madrid emergency services, a 20-year-old man was seriously injured in a knife attack on Sunday evening April 24. The attack resulted in the “semi-amputation” of one of the man’s arms.

Emergency services revealed that the incident happened on Marqués de Viana street. The young man was injured several times during the attack and had to be intubated and stabilized by medics. The most serious injuries were to the man’s arms and he was rushed to La Paz Hospital in Madrid for further treatment. The man is said to be in serious condition.

An investigation into the incident has been opened.

As 20 Minutes reports, “A woman who suffered a minor cut on her arm was also treated during the incident.”
